The USAC East Coast Sprints have posted the newly updated 2019 Rule Book on their website under the Rule/Forms tab along with a Rule Bulletin containing the new "Outlaw" frame specs and other rules that will be suggested or mandatory in 2019. PORT ROYAL, PENNSYLVANIA (August 25th, 2018) “Mr. Twister” Mark Bitner took home the top prize for “Open Wheel Madness II” at Port Royal Speedway. Bitner led every lap of the 20 lap pursuit. The green and black #15 pulled away from the field while Bill Unglert and Eddie Strada battled for the second place position. TONIGHT the Inaugural Season Champion for the USAC East Coast Wingless Sprints will be named at the Port Royal Speedway. This is the series only visit to the Speed Palace this season. With many big names on the ballot, Steven Drevicki, Joey Biasi, and Eddie Strada will have a large task ahead of them as the three face off for the championship. Due to the expectation of heavy rainfall, Delaware International Speedway has made the decision to cancel tonight's event. We would like to thank Delaware International Management for the early call in efforts to look out for our racers making the long trip south. We are looking forward to visiting the Delaware 1/2 mile in our 2019 Season! See you all for our final event at Port Royal Speedway on August 25th!

Joey started on the outside pole, and gave Drevicki many early race attempts at the lead, but eventually Drevicki managed to pull away.
