Minersville, Pennsylvania (July 21st, 2018)-
After being close multiple times, Joey Biasi finally tackles the USAC East Coast winner’s circle. Joey started on the outside pole, and gave Drevicki many early race attempts at the lead, but eventually Drevicki managed to pull away.
Finally on lap 12, Biasi hit all of his marks and made the move he needed to on Drevicki. He completed the pass coming down the front stretch and began to pull away. The leaders had to work their way through lap traffic, only furthering Biasi’s lead on Drevicki and third place Kobylarz.
The race for third was just as intense, with Ryan Godown giving Trevor Kobylarz plenty of attempts for the pass, but Kobylarz held him off every time. Ryan Godown settled for fourth. Chandler Leiby came back from his spill at Bridgeport Speedway two nights prior to finish a strong fifth.
Carmen Perigo was the night’s Frank’s Fine Swine and Beef Hard Charger moving from the 11th starting position to a 7th finish.
