RINGOES, NEW JERSEY (April 6th, 2018)-
The Ringoes Rocket is a name often heard in modified competition here in the Northeast. Ryan Godown started his racing career in 1998, and has seat time in Street Stocks, Sportsman, Big Block & Small Block Modifieds, and the NEWS 602 Wingless Sprint division.
Godown has a decorated career, finding victory lane in the modified at tracks like New Egypt, Big Diamond, Bridgeport Speedway, and many, many more. He also took a trip to the winners circle in 2017 in the 602 wingless sprint car.
After gaining the feel of a wingless sprint car last year, Godown believes this is going to be a great move for him as a driver. “After running the crate division wingless I really like running wingless cars and feel this is the next stepping stone,” he explains about the addition of the USAC-EC schedule to his already full modified schedule.
Godown’s #4, XXX Chassis, Vahlco Wheels, Karl Freyer owned Sprint Car will be following the series, likely in pursuit of the points title.
