As many may know, the Rapid Tire Services, USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series, presented by Capitol Renegade is in a transition period for the remainder of the 2024 season, and into the 2025 season. While the completion of the sale has not 100% been finished, the completion is expected to occur within the next week or so.
That said, the new ownership of the series, Fran Hogue, has one major announcement and rule redaction that they wish to have announced as soon as possible. The USAC East Coast Sprint Cars will REMAIN a 360ci Sprint Car engine platform series for 2025 and the foreseeable future. This is a change from the initially announced 410ci rules that had been planned for the 2025 season.
While there are many details to be worked out for the 2025 season, and other possible rule changes that will be discussed among teams and the ownership group, the biggest clarification that Fran Hogue and the new ownership team wanted to have announced is that plans are to keep the series in its current state as a 360ci series.
